Huda Beauty and Bollywood Star Jacqueline Fernandez Are Launching a False Lashes Collab
Huda Kattan has been keeping super-busy over the last few months. She launched Huda Beauty's very first concealer after teasing it on a Facebook
Watch series about the business, created a perfume brand called Kayali, and even announced plans to expand into skin care. And if those
accomplishments and plans weren't impressive enough, we're about to be introduced to the very first Huda Beauty collaboration.
On Sunday, Kattan posted a video and photo set with the caption, "OMG" I am SUPER excited to announce our first EVER product collab! It’s with the
stunning @jacquelinef143 !!! How gorgeous is she?!! Here is a little sneak peak of our Jacqueline Lash, inspired by the beautiful Bollywood QUEEN."
You may not be familiar with Jacqueline Fernandez if you're not up on the Indian entertainment industry, but her 25 million Instagram followers can tell
you she's a beloved actress and former Miss Sri Lanka. and Kattan is happy to gush over her, too: "Jacqueline is a classic beauty, super glamorous
but also so natural & we wanted to bring this to life in these lashes!"
Although Huda Beauty already has many sets of false lashes named after different women, this appears to be the first time the namesake was
involved in the design. And it may not be the last. When Kattan teased this launch a few days ago, she clearly says collaborations — plural — in the
Instagram video she posted. Instagram beauty-news account Trendmood picked up on this, too, and according to their post about the lashes, "It’s a
series of collaborations to honor a new generation of inspirational women. All their lashes are named after the beautiful, strong, and inspiring women
around #Huda and each new lash is created in collaboration with some of the world’s most fearless women she admires."
Although that hasn't been confirmed by the brand, we do know that the Huda Beauty x Jacqueline lashes launch on shophudabeauty.com on
January 29.
